Monty, solid all season long, shown some flair and excellent passing at times too. Overlooked quite often but i really think he's been tremendous this year and deserves some recognition for his performances

On another note, if there was also a young player of the year, young mr naughton would get my vote for that.

for me it has to be the one and only kilgallon he is absolute class! in my opinion the best defender not playing for the "big 4" never mind the premiership!

I've gone for Killa for being consistant throughout the season (bar one or two occasions), doesn't concede needless fouls and hardly gets booked (is the red at the sty the only time he's been shown a card this year?)

got to be killa. been a different class all season. could be hard to keep hold of him if we dont go up.

Killa's been solid all season, but i feel that halford has made the difference in a lot of matches. We need to sign this player full time. Lets just hope it happens

Ive gone for Killa been brilliant all season- nearly chose Halford though as he has been excellent as well

I've gone for Greg....

firstly, we share the name greg
and secondly he has put in some outstanding performances since around October time, whether being asked to play RB, RM, LM, ST and hes done a job in every position.

Killa came in a close second, but him not kicking the ball out against blackpool is still a little bugging.....and his names not greg.

I'd be happy to see it go to either of them.

I was under the impression that it was the forum POTS, and he provided more entertainment on here than any other player. Didn't realise they had to do anything ON the pitch.

Gone for Naughton (even though he is more likely to win Young Player Of The Year) He's fitted into the first team with ease, got a couple of goals & has been called up into the U21s. Overall a good season!

Halford may have done a good job filling in the gaps, but Killa has been the center-piece of the defence all year. Don't think it reasonable to ignore his overall contibution. Halford is not quite at the level of our last super-sub (Pesch).
