Play offs confirmation: What needs to happen to us and other results?

So we could be playing our second leg on Sunday at 12.15pm? Great. For some reason I thought both second legs would be played at the same time (on the Monday) like the first legs.

I booked a flight over on the Saturday night, so I can go to the second leg on Monday. Looks like I'll miss it now if it.s 12.15pm Sunday. Anyone know which game is scheduled for the Sunday and which is for the Monday (ie 6th v 3rd or 4th v 5th?)

Clutching at straws perhaps, but won't the Blades' game be the biggest draw from a neutral's perspective, compared to the other semi? And if so, could they be waiting to see who finishes where before assigning the Monday night slot?

It doesn't make a lot of difference at the moment, but I can't think of any other reason why they aren't saying which game will be played on the Sunday and which will be on the Monday

The legendary Terry Reid is on at the Greystones 7th May hop we aren't at home that night. If we are Blades take precedence even though I live about 50 yards from TG.

Unfortunately, I left Firth Park School with a E and therefore not very good at it. So come on then, what needs to happen to seal our play offs spot tommrw?
Not bad for Firth Park :D

He is probably the best mathematician the school produced - not much time for maths if you have to learn a 13 verse school song in latin :p Any road he did better than me at sums. Still - I'd like to think that the FP motto was seen in evidence at today's match - Each for All and All for Each. I'm praying for rather than expecting a win today - be nice to get into the PO's under our own steam rather than relying on others.

The fixtures for the semi-finals have been confirmed following discussions with Sky Sports, who will be broadcasting all ties live. These dates and times are fixed, but scheduling of specific games could be amended following consultation with police

It's ridiculous that the can't say which semi final will be on the 10th at 12.15pm, and which will be on the 11th at 7.45pm. Why not just say e.g. 3rd v 6th on the Sunday, 4th v 5th on the Monday?

I'm guessing they are waiting to so which teams qualify, and in which position. If we end up playing Chesterfield (very unlikely) it would probably be 12.15 on the Sunday, on police advice. Hopefully potential games against Preston, Swindon or MK Dons won't be seen as potential flashpoint fixtures so with any luck we'll be seen as the bigger draw and get the Monday PM slot

EDIT - Impossible for us to play Chessie in the Semi.

Saw him there in June 2012, legendary is right, he was good and I find it amazing that he still has the desire to perform in front of 200 people, he can't do it for the money.

He and I share the same home town and a few years ago, he was due to play the Montagu WMC in Huntingdon, a very odd choice of venue. My brother-n-law, who lives about as close to the venue as you do to The Greystones, went along in the afternoon to ask about getting a ticket. He found the lady social secretary who was organising the gig and said "Hello, Terry Reid....." and before he could finish the question, she shook his hand and said "pleased to meet you". She clearly had very limited knowledge of Terry Reid, to mistake a six foot bald bloke for the rock legend.

My brother-in-law will dine out on that story for a very long time, but not as long as the one where John Major, whilst prime minister, cooked him lunch, but that's for another day....

From all the footnotes about Division 2 it seems that for that Division Game 1 is 6 v 3 and Game 2 is 4 v 5.

Presumably it's the same for Division 3 - but this is not much more than amateur deductive reasoning based on reading some Sherlock Holmes books when I was younger.

Really though I'm a) hoping someone can answer more definitively and b) wondering why on Earth it's not been made clear on the page linked to. That's very poor communication.
