I've already booked flights and hotel. Any suggestions for a pub? Maybe we sup somewhere different this time? :-)

Seriously, the late kick off isn't at all good. Plenty of Blades, myself included, were absolutely wankered before kick off in the FA Cup semi. Still, it was fun "tiger-pouncing" all those Hull fans
 
I've already booked several hotel rooms for us and friends one tube stop away from Wembley.
Hopefully the only reason I will cancel them is cos we've already gone up.
I am very confident this time we will do it if we get to the final. Anyone else? No? Just me then. :)

My eldest was two days old when we lost at home to the Pigs. My youngest was born in Stevenage while we were being gubbed 4-0 by Stevenage... I'll probably never tell them...
 
It means any loan player signed on Friday will be within the 93 days and eligible to play in the final. Something that won't have been overlooked by NC.

So that's COG in against COV then?

Worst we've ever been.
In every sense.
How could I be happy :?
Except after isolated games such as Soton were we beat a nominally good team on merit.
(Nominally good as no team now can defend!)

I started with Hodgy, the Shaws, Doc Pace and migrated to Badger, Currie Woodward and Salmons.
Invariably in the top league
- lowest position ever 10th in the second division
And with 8 or 9 local lads every week.
Playing for us - not every other club that's offered a few quid.
And a genuinely good manager :)
FFS I wish I could go back there :)
FFS I wish we owned the ground ! rather than just spent money on improving it.

It's totally fine if it's not another Northern club involved - apologies for putting you through that.

To be honest though, anywhere around and above Wembley will be a nightmare if most people are heading the same direction.

If we do get there, then pray it's against Swindon!

My eldest was born March 2011 (relegation season) hopefully this on is born in a promotion season.

Randomly 9months before 18th January was FA Cup semi final weekend... I don't see much action me. Only special occasions :D
 
Could be worse. The Man. U v Arsenal FA Cup quarter final on Monday March 9th is a 19.45 KO. To get the last train darn sarf, the gooners would have to leave at half time. So how the hell are the Arse fans going to get back down south? Ditto the Man. U. 'fans'.:D

Seriously, this 'live' TV coverage wants a serious look at or people just won't bother attending the matches and they'll have to fill all the empty spaces with cardboard cut-outs. Lineker and Savage would be a good start.

On the offspring theme my eldest was born the night we drew 3-3 at Bury .. Think it was on Sky. In dec 98. Made him do over 50 grounds with me already following the Blades.

His brother followed in 02 on Xmas Day so no missed game ! He's only clocked up 30 odd the part timer !!
 
Mine are due (twins) around the date of the playoff final. Praying we do it through the autos to save the arguments :D

If it is the playoffs they will be named after the our scorers who seal promotion!!! Brayford and Murphy

I shall probably be having a little mini rant that it should have been us involved in this if we had the common sense to buy 2 strikers who could score in August, instead of one in January !!

For once , after Hull, I'd go in thinking we'd give it a really good go rather than fold under the pressure.
 
I'm going to Spain the day before, so if we do make it I shall be getting properly twatted on cheap San Miguel or Estrella, watching it in either a local bar or on my generic tablet device (through the wonders of SkyGo and Hide My Ass) in the villa.

I've had to endure 2 playoff final defeats on my birthday ( 26th may ) !!! Don't think my mental state could take another one.......so think it will have to be Finishing 2nd for me Mr Clough !!
