Just arrived back in Slumderland from a trip to York to witness something to make the blood run cold, a vendor peddling ‘half & half Sun’lun: Wednesday scarf albeit both the halves were variations of red/white/black ?!?!?!
When I tried to take a photo the fella got arsy & intervened stating I wasn’t allowed to do so because of ‘copyright’ infringement but I could do what I wished with it ionce purchased !
I’m considering setting up a crowd funding page - to purchase (+ PPE for safe handling) - any takers?!?!?!?!

PS Given his ‘attitude’ I decided not to explain my interest but wished him well in his ‘endeavour’

I wrote an email to my MP re the delay in announcing the kick off time. He forwarded my email to the EFL and this is their response:

thank you for your e-mail, we appreciate you getting in touch and sharing a message from one of your constituents.

The League recognises the frustration of both our finalist Clubs and their supporters at the time it took for the Championship Play-Off Final kick-off time to be agreed, and the challenge that presented to supporters looking to finalise their travel plans for the weekend. While it would have been our preference to have the kick-off times for all three Finals confirmed ahead of the Semi-Final ties, on this occasion the delay was due the requirement for the relevant agencies and stakeholders to conduct the appropriate risk assessments before a final decision could be taken.

We are committed to working with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure kick-off times are announced in better time going forward, while continuing to work with our Clubs to ensure supporters are informed and their needs accommodated.

It doesn't however answer why the Play Off Final is any different to the FA Cup Final. Surely 'the relevant agencies and stakeholders' are the same (or very similar) for both events?

One is an FA competition, one is an EFL competition. One has one set of sponsors, the other has another. One is broadcast on pay TV, one isn't. One almost always has two PL clubs competing in it, the other never does. Your assertion that the stakeholders are very similar couldn't be further from the truth.
