First of it's kind.
If it's anything after 4pm kick off I'm going to be fuming. Fuming I tell thee.

We've signed Haaland?![]()
I'm thinking 1pm is more likely now...just announce the fucker
Would sooner have Saka. We've signed Haaland?![]()
If tickets go on sale at Noon today, surely they've got to announce the kick off time before then?
From Sunderland forum:
"Just rang the EFL - discussions are ongoing, they don't know when it will be confirmed. Travel logistics and train times for fans travelling from the North are part of the conversation and are being looked at, apparently."
They know which clubs are playing. They know the train times. Surely they have enough info to make a decision now.
Oh my sweet summer child - you think the fans are paramount in their thinking here?
Of course they do - clearly someone somewhere isn`t happy with the outcome - given the lack of train availability I'm guessing that 5:30 isn`t a desired time for the clubs (and perhaps not the EFL) but the TV are probably twisting their arm.
If it was about the fans:
- We'd know the time already
- It wouldn`t be later than 3pm
I suspect if Coventry had won last night we'd have 5:30 confirmed already - as it is the TV are throwing their toys out of the pram.I can't believe that they didn't have a couple of kick times depending on the winner of the second play off game. I find it unbelievable that they couldn't announce a kick off time last night - let alone this morning. I suspect it must be down to Sky digging their heels in.
A completely unforeseeable situation - totally understand why this couldn`t have been started before 22:40 last night...given that its teams from the north travelling down
Give the EFL a break, Sheff Utd and Sunderland haven't both remained in the top 4 since about last September!A completely unforeseeable situation - totally understand why this couldn`t have been started before 22:40 last night...
Well in fairness to the EFL we were in the top two for a lot of that time, and Burnley (further north) and Leeds (also further north) were in third so how could they possibly have done anything differently...Give the EFL a break, Sheff Utd and Sunderland haven't both remained in the top 4 since about last September!

Tomorrow? Ruddy hell, God give me strength!Forget what i said in posts 179 and 180.... given that its teams from the north travelling down, discussions are now being held with the various groups.. announcement hopefully tomorrow
Well well well, it sounds like having everything in London/at Wembley isn't practical. From Sunderland forum:
