In 1973-74? Dont think so. I was at Stoke and at Anfield in October 1973 and also at Man U in Boxing Day and I think we wore the same away kit as we have since 1967/68 season.

I was wrong, we did wear the shirt at Anfield in October 1973 despite me being there. My apologies to SouthEssexBlade

We wore it at Anfield in 74/75. I was there to see it.
