Good insight into the fact that he was very grateful to Warnock for giving him a chance when released from Everton as a youngster.

He thought he may not have got back in as a pro had he not got signed and given game time with us.

If you watch it you'll find there's quite a bit about that, including snippets that we offered him a new contract on more money than Everton had offered; and that he turned down an approach from West Ham that summer.

Why? Correcting him could have come across as unnecessarily provocative. He's lost enough games to Liverpool for it to be understandable that he might get them mixed up.

Took me a while to piece it back together too. Interesting fact: the only three goals Robbie Fowler scored for Liverpool that season came from the spot against us.

Good watch. Lovely guy and glad he still has a great affinity for the Blades. Ex Everton captain, England international/scorer. Highest honours unfortunately only FA cup runner up. Sure he's happy with his career but he'd have won trophies had Everton ever decided to cash on him. Still a better goalie than Grbic

Noticed that his lad is now with Hull City U18
