Yep, all in all a very enjoyable evening. A good result, a decent pint of Oakham Citra in the Barge on the river Nene, and nice to meet the gang.

Might see you at Upton Park next week. Not sure about my plans just yet, I get the feeling it could be a hostile place and I am not sure where to go for a pre match beer on route. I may have a car full of hammers from home town to boot so the journey home could be grim or quiet.

The lopsided barge was decent last season. Me, Ollessendro and Papa Luigi enjoyed a few in there and there weren't that many folk about really. This time it was rammed, mostly with home fans too from what I could see. Took an absolute age to get served.
