I always prefer Aussies to have a name which can be shortened or is already short.
If he's prepared to be known as 'Pete' then he should be ok. Peter is a little too formal for an Aussie.
Names such as Mick, Carl, Bernie are all acceptable. Alternatively if he's known as Skapo, even better

I watched the game yesterday ,all the coaching staff were there including Chris ,I'm afraid the Aussie lad showed very little ,he's stocky but isn't strong ,he's not really quick ,he's about 5 foot 6 so not going to win much in the air .to me looked bang average .but other than that he has a fancy name and a twitter account

Fast as a Dalek or Hammond . Worth a trial look at but will not cut the mustard . At least our scouting system and communication with other clubs seems to have kicked in and working . Another Wilder positive .

Might as well have a good look at him in training, see if he's got more to offer than he showed at Stocksbridge. But I'd be very surprised if we signed him. I don't see how there's a space for his type of player in our squad.
