I'm going to set the ball rolling with Rocco Vata.

18 years old from Celtic. He's a right winger but can also play up top as a second striker. He's currently playing for their B team. He's a Republic of Ireland under-21 international and has already been in fine goal scoring form at that level. He recently played with Sam Curtis in the latest under-21 match where he bagged a hat trick.

Not sure if been mentioned but recently signed for Watford for a paultry compensation fee of just £237,000

Issac Price 20 CM/CDM came through at Everton went to Standard Liege on a free last year and is now playing for them this season starting in their first 4 games if he has a good season in Belgium this year he’d be one to look at next summer if we have some money and want to replace anyone or add some more quality to the midfield group.

Harry Leonard Blackburn Striker 20. Was shit hot in the premier league two a few seasons ago scoring a hatful of goals looked like he’d break through at Blackburn but has been troubled by a back injury still he’s coming back to full fitness now and has a decent amount of experience. If he plays for them this season and nets a respectable goal tally which would be anywhere around 10 for a striker of his age then he could be one to look at next summer. Blackburn have a very good academy side as evidenced by recent outgoings in Wharton and Phillips and this lads delayed progress due to injury might mean we could take a run at him next summer if we have a good season and go up. He’s under a long amount of contractual control and so wouldn’t necessarily be cheap but he could be a good investment if we do find ourselves with money to spend next summer.

Reckon Fabio Jalo over at Barnsley will have a good season. 18 years old and has all the tools to become a good striker in the future.

Bradley Ihionvien who recently signed for Peterborough from Colchester seems a good prospect too.

He was mentioned by Nic before he left the forum and then discussed around the time we picked up young Beattie but Lennon Miller has really kicked on in recent years called up for Scotland under 21’s and broken into Motherwell’s senior team now 2 goals and 2 assists from midfield in 6 games this season he’ll be getting a big move fairly soon you’d have thought either to Rangers/Celtic or south of the border he’s one to watch if we ever find ourselves with some money to invest in the future.

Tyler Bindon 19 CB for Reading and full New Zealand international again played most of the season for them and is attracting interest from higher up. If Reading haven’t got their takeover sorted by the summer or if they still need to balance the books he could be a very cheap pick up in the summer
Having a really good season for Reading and now only has 6 months on his contract...

Wouldn’t be against brining him in this window. Wouldn’t one him to be the number one option at CB i.e the Souttar replacement but as a player to bring in with an eye to developing long term he’d be interesting.

You’d hope that our theoretically stronger financial position now would allow us to start to bring in the top L1 prospects. Let’s hope so as it only takes one of 10 to turn out good for us to make a significant profit.

League one prospects and hopefully we’ll start looking at the lads who’ve gone over to Holland and Belgium for first team football and have kicked on there’s quite a few following that pathway now

We need a couple of CBs really, given we have 2 senior players there. Would make sense to get one experienced Souttar replacement and one young lad who we can ease in before letting Robbo go.

Not to mention Tommy Orpington.

Cathal O'Sullivan at Cork City

17 year old AM/RW/LW

10 goal contributions in 28 games, destined for a move to English football.
Soz, I can't allow this one! City are my local team and we need Cathal this season after getting promoted back to the LOI Premier Division.

Maybe in a few years I'll allow it...

Alvyn Sanches
21 years old
Central Midfielder/Attacking Midfielder
Club: Lausanne Sport

14 goal contributions (10g+4a) in 23 games

Leeds apparently looking at going in for him at end of season.

Maher Carrizo
18 years old
Attacking Midfielder/Right Winger/Left Winger
Club: Velez Sarsfield

11 goal contributions (10g+1a) in 18 games

The two Irish lads breaking through in Ligue 1 are worth keeping an eye on over the next year or two. Ike Orazi at Reims and John Patrick both very good technical players.

Obviously if they go on to establish themselves at Reims then they’ll be well out of our price bracket but if they don’t go on to become established players for Reims and end up having to forge careers elsewhere then they’d be very shrewd pick ups.
