In recent years we've always looked better when we've had someone to play in that gap. Whether that be McGoldrick, MGW or Ndiaye. For the record COH had ample opportunities but never dominated games/led the team in that role, so maybe it's time for Peck to play it? Certainly the 4-4-2 last night looked pretty rudimentary once Campbell got tired/the statue of Tom Cannon came on....He looked knackered after he scored. Yeah agree but at the time don’t want our best centre forward getting the ball on the half way line, especially when we don’t have anyone from midfield who wants to run past him.
