11/5 under 1.5 goals at Leicester today.

We'll play for a draw with one upfront and I can see it being a low scoring game.

Oh and Go Native at 5/2 for the big hurdle race at Kempton today

Pay for Xmas by re-mortgaging your house (assuming you aint suffering from negative equity) and dump the lot on a Leicester victory.

The wise money would be on a tousing for us and a win for Wednesday. Both overdue.

Nope ................

i'm going for a win for the Blades and another nil points for the pigs.

Not bad really when put into context of backing all three possible results at the best odds available (0-1/1-0/0-0). A maximum return of 23/10, and a minimum of 7/3.

Personally, I like Starluck at Kempton .... good luck!

My bet of the day was a matched £10 bet with William Hill on Newcastle HT-FT, a £5 accumulator featuring Newcastle, and another £5 on our match to be under 2 goals.

Also slammed another £5 on Newcastle at 11/4 on William Hill Bet in Play about 10 seconds before Newcastle equalised.

If i was a professional gambler i would be about as much good as an ashtray on a motorbike

Oh I don't know about that, I thought Newcastle were good value to beat the pigs. Okay, the result wasn't right on the day, but if you played that game twenty times, how many would you expect them to win? I couldn't believe they were 1.77 on the exchanges overnight, I'd take that over and over again.

11/4 at 1-0 down isn't that bad a bet either. It's a bit tight in my opinion, but it's not a horrendous bet.

In play is always dodgy though, especially given the 'digital delay'. 11/4 is skinny, but I wonder what the 'goal advantage' price before kick off would have been.

Not looked at tomorrow's meetings with everything under inspection, but Halcon Genelardais took my eye at a price back in a handicap, even with a lot of weight. 10/1 looks short though. Kilbeggan Blade will stay forever, but why he has first time blinds on I've no idea, but may have chances lower in the weights. Coe might be of interest too.

For the big race of the day, the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown, it looks relatively open. I'd love for Aran Concerto to win, to prove he's as good a chaser as a hurdler, but I fear he might not scale the heights. I love Voy Por Ustedes to bits, but what he's doing over three miles is beyond me.

Joncol will stay on ground which may change (currently good), but I like Cloudy Lane and in particular Cooldine. The way he won at Cheltenham at the Festival was very taking. Ignore the last run and he should put up a decent show.

Maybe we should have a betting thread elsewhere, as a few of us like a flutter?

hippy some good racing today but I am really looking forward to seeing Diamond Harry take on Big Bucks tomorrow. DH looked a machine in his last race and altho BB is the reigning long distance champ I'm hoping DH can dethrone him. I'm on him for the World Hurdle and tomorrow is the acid test, he'll be favourite for Cheltenham if he wins tomorrow.
