Paul Heaton - Concert at the Lane

I think he was referring to the south stand, there's a concert going on every game in there, going on the volume levels!

Whoever it is, you'll have to sell your car/wife/girlfriend/house to be able to afford a ticket, then give up a whole day staring at your phone or laptop to be given the chance to buy one, only to get to the front of the virtual queue to be logged off because you are a suspected bot. Then, if you do finally manage to successfully raise the necessary funds, negotiate the minefield of logging in and actually buying a ticket, you then have to pay surcharges for the privilege of being allowed to buy one and print it at home, using your own ink and electricity. I won't even mention the beauty of 'dynamic pricing'.

Whatever happened to getting up early, getting off your arse and going to queue at the City Hall, and having a laugh and bants with other like-minded individuals, whilst waiting for the box office to open, and then paying exactly the reasonable price stated on the ticket? Eh?

Oh yes please ,those were the days .So bloody simple why have we made simple things so bloody complicated? Can't be bothered really . to much trouble .

Would the potential capacity be the seated one 32k or a little more? I know Sunderland have slight over for some but can't see sheffield council allowing it.

I'm going for Elvis with Whitney Houston in support.

Its that Ipswich fan 100% , you heard it hear 1st !!

Def Leppard had the Stage at the away end so you think of the capacity of that and the corner and some of the family and south stand would probably be easily covered by people on the pitch

I bet some concert enthusiasts wasn't too impressed with the kop facilities...

Bert has queued at Wilson Peck for Led Zeppelin etc, not the City Hall.

We sent a mate to get tickets from Wilson Peck for Zeppelin, but they'd sold out before he got to the front of the queue. Suppose it was our fault sending a pig fan to do the task 🐷😡.

Hopefully it is someone worth seeing. Can't really see it being Springsteen. Could be the acoustic guitar playing Ipswich Town fan.
Johnny said no to Moz, plus there is no Andy Rourke.
I'd go PD Heaton or a massive long shot, Talking Heads now they are all speaking again.
