I have been pondering all day how all the scenarios play out.

Gary Speed stays with the promise of money to spent or he leaves because as we don't have a bean.

With a bean, United moving forward need to fight to get ourselves out of this mess and also try and blood some new youngsters for next season. I thought long and hard and Paul Hart is the only person who I can think of who would be a, willing, b, fought relegation with palace and c brought youngsters through at Forest.

There is no guarentee even if Speed is given the money that he will get us out of this mess however a part of me wants to find out, however I will probably have my hands over my eyes.

It's tough but this is a critical week in United's history going forward because if Speed walks we really don't have a pot to piss in. The new manager has to work

One thing's guaranteed. If Speed stays, there'll be moaning. If Speed goes, there'll be moaning, whoever comes in. Seriously if Alex Ferguson took over tomorrow there would be someone saying he's past his best. Never happy our lot.

If Speed goes it'll be a 'shocking indictment of the failing leadership of the club' or some such crap. Speed will be seen as the best manager ever and it's crazy how we let him go... the technical term is the Nade Syndrome.

Also think missing out on Mowbray was a mistake [as was appointing Speed]

i've been hearing rumours about megson.. if he comes then it is the apocalypse AFAIC .. i'll take up something else.. fishing?.. ice hockey.. golf.. COD professionally (do some work instead of reading all this stuff.. hmm .. might be a good thing)
