Maybe as a back up but lets be honest, he’s not good enough. Not put up more than 4 goal involvements in a season since 2016-17 where he got 9 goals and 10 assists for Celtic. Since then he only gets a single goal or a single assist in a season for his clubs. Desperate times i guess but just not good enough for a supposed play off chasing team

As reclamation projects go on a free in a position of need it’s a good one. He’s a good age with a great pedigree and he knows the manager. It’s not worked out for him a city but there’s a decent chance he’ll sort himself out and get back to the top.

Good for him that he's got so many clubs supposedly interested in him - I hope he does well at one of them. Thankfully, it doesn't appear as though Utd are remotely interested.

We need to be realistic about where we are as a club at the moment. I'd be happy signing this lad and 3/4 others.

Slav wants to play with wingers/wide midfielders. We have 0. (maybe ilman can play there).

Love how any player suggested on this forum is not good enough, when we have literally no players in his position apart from Burke. Is he better than Burke? Yes 100%, obviously lost his way abit, but personally we are crying out for a skilful Duffy type, which I think he could be.

Hear what you’re saying but you could have classed Leon Clark, David McGoldrick and several others as a daft punt as well. By definition some of these signings will work out and other won’t, as long as the transfer fee and contract is sensible they are worth taking a chance.

I didn’t have an issue with the Morrison signing. It didn’t work out and he was moved on within a year. No harm done. Giving Rodwell an additional year and then never using him was odd though.
