We can't start collecting has-beens now. He was completely irrelevant in Leeds promotion campaign last year.

I was commenting on the accuracy of personal comments.
We can all make our own judgements about football matters
Comes across as a cheat on a football pitch and for that reason cannot see how he could be supported in his private life

Sadly I would consider that a large number of footballers cheat on the pitch and not only our opponents.
How that translates to their life off the pitch has no obvious connection.

The attacking version of Tom Davies, spends more time in the treatment room than on the field.

Has been out injured for 457 days over last 4 seasons.

I have to confess I had no idea he was such a crock 😂

On that basis, given there's a history with injury to hamstrings, I'd avoid him.

Aye
But
Equally
Over the same period he’s been ‘available’ for 994 days
🤔

The man's a total cock sniffer.

And a cheat (remember his antics v Aston Villa when we had just about mathematically sealed promotion under Wilder mk1 and he was getting a Villa player sent off by feigning violent conduct).

Not in a million years.
Get what you’re saying. But Jack Lester used to go down easier than a fat lass in the Bessemer when he played for us.

I’d sign Beelzebub if he improved us

True. So did the great Colin Morris.

I suppose it depends where each of us draw the line on players trying to sway the referee into making a decision go their teams way (or cheating if you go to the nth degree).

I can kind of get on board with the odd easy fall over in the opposition box (provided there is contact) to try and sway the ref for a penalty - then it's up to the referee to decide. Though im probably old school and would prefer my player to stay on their feet if possible and try and get the shot away. However, getting contact 3 yards outside the box and still running before collapsing in the box looking for a pen, is not acceptable.

The other stuff, the falling over clutching a part of your anatomy when there has been little or even no contact, to try and get other professional players sent off is never acceptable in my mind. The Bamford incident v Villa was just downright cheating and trying to get another player sent off (there was no contact where he clutched his face before falling over in apparent agony), or the stunt that little prat at Coventry pulled to get Anel sent off (winking and smirking after he had got Anel to do something stupid) is also cheating which i think is unacceptable.

I want United to win each game. But I want to win fairly. I don't want to see our players stooping to cheating to get it though.

As for Bamford, he might be a lovely lad in his personal life. Hope he is and I don't wish him any ill. Professionally though, he comes across as a greasy cheating arrogant little snake. Its a big no from me to him having the honour of wearing our red and white shirt at any time.

I genuinely don’t think we will go for him.

He’s got Wrexham signing written all over him

We have already thankfully already signed our experienced centre forward.

A young pacy guy that we can develop not an ageing has been, who contributed nothing in his last season on at Leeds and is not the “type” that I / we want

And one that was probably on very high Championship wages and would want expect to be remunerated not too dissimilar even if he is expecting a modest percentage in wage reduction.

There is thankfully v little to substantiate this other than someone making a suggestion
