any body remember blades v pigs at the lane,2001 season.vividly remember kozzy giving del geary a clip round the ear for showing off, another time they escaped with a lucky goal.

also saw him play in dane whitehouse,s testomonial, kozzy played striker and scored about six goals,i know its not league footy but he was on fire that afternoon

does anyone else remember the other 100 and odd games he's been absolute shite for us?

Yeah, shame he hasn't died of a horrific disease eh Stafford?

Thought Kozzy did well overall today. Didn't think it was a pen personally but plenty did so I'll have a look at the replays.

I reckon I might have been there for every goal Kozluk and Montgomery have scored for us. Anyone fancy listing them?

Today took me back to Blundell Park, when he ran around like a madman after scoring, whipped his shirt off and the Blades players (mainly Monty if I remember) managed to talk the ref out of booking him for his celebration.

Andre Marriner I think it was, could be completely wrong though :D

I think the ref was so in awe of his tan he forgot the yellow to be honest!

Kozza's got every chance of being a major weapon for us with his long throw.

Kozzy is just the type of player we need at the moment, he will run through walls for the cause, never shy a tackle and always give 100%. He aint the prettiest player, but thought he played well today, and out of position.

Kozzy is funny. Peter Kay is just a fat Lancastrian twat.

best memory of Kozzy before today was the 'DIVE' against the pigs. I am sure it was the game we beat them 1-0 in our last promotion season

I seem to recall reading somewhere, think it must have been in the programme when Kozzy did a piece, he deliberately took his shirt off so that he would get booked so that he could frame the letter or fine or whatever it is that he gets that says what the booking was for.

i do like him as a character. The shall i take em off boss incident was very funny.

BUT, he is a very very average footballer ( Barnsley didn't even want him ). At times he can't even throw it to a team mate nevermind kick it to one!

Classic Kozzy today before the match. When the players had finished their warm ups before going back in and were lined up to do the usual 'I drop the ball and you run to the centre circle' routine. The young kid Harriott obviously was'nt sure what to do and of all people to ask, he asks Kozzy. Ball drops, all other players run towards centre circle, Harriott runs towards the net! PMSL

Firstly well done Kozluk (He calls us Sheffield and always has, so no 'Kozzy' from me) for a wholehearted, commited performance and an exhilirating goal.

Let's revert back to reality now:

Memories of Kozluk are replete with sliced clearances, appalling distribution, wingers bearing down on our goal as our hero looks on from 50 yards away (I think Quinn must have been coached by him). Crosses into the back of the Kop and penalties conceded as a matter of routine.

He was, true to his image, a joke first time round. The passage of time has not improved him.

Sorry to say this on a good day, but you did ask!

Enjoyed it immensely Alien. A defeat would have been a travesty today. A win is not far away!

Bottom line. Koz is a player of limited ability but he was fired up today and had a decent game. He did the simple things well, better than Noz. He played a few decent passes and scored our winner. He deserves no criticism today.

Well said, thought he stepped into a threadbare team and didn't let himself or the team down... apart from the pen!

But he made up for it by slamming the ball into the back of the net.

Kozzy seems to thrive under certain types of managers, sure he's no Kyle Walker, Ashley Cole or Roberto Carlos, but then we're a low end Championship side who've had 4 managers this season, a team of what some call "no hopers", loanees and loanee no hopers. Lets hope that Micky has got what it takes to get the best out of what we've got and build on it with some shrewd moves in the window.

kay is funny though even if he is from bolton:D

All about opinions of course, that dunking your chocolate biscuits routine is a real winner.
Kay is not funny - at best he is mildly amusing 1% of the time - lame, dishwater comedy for old ladies.

I remember.....

Crosses into the kop.
Him giviing us a penalty with a hand ball at Barnsley.
His long throw (which isn't actually that long to be honest)
The boots joke with Warnock.

Nobody denies him commitment, but when you see his name on the team sheet, you just don't know what you're going to get.
