Watching Lavery get left for a hot dog when chasing after that ball that their captain willis or something won, reminds me that we are lacking a pacy player or 2. Yes we are good on the counter, but imagine if we had quicker players on the counter!

I wrote a whole thread on our lack of pace about a week ago.

I thought that Duffy was very good tonight while Fleck and Coutts were invisible apart from one run from Fleck.

I thought tonight was a night for Fleck to put 2 fingers up to Coventry but the whole occasion was too much for him.

I am a big Done fan but Lavery had something different when he came on and his header and Bill's heart won us that game.

We won it on Bill's desire, not on the ability that we didn't show.

BUT - as you say we lacked pace - that is the message for the JTW.

Bolton men would have annihilated those Coventry boys but if you want to play football like we do you have to be able to run by them and we didn't.
