Nah .. they would take you down with the Water SprinklersI’m going to run on the pitch, nick the corner flag and then throw coins at them.
Let’s teach them a lesson.

If HRH doesn't buy the ground and rents it, will people be moaning that we've not got a ground and blaming the Prince?
He's said the KW and HM money have helped cut the losses this year, but he doesn't want the academy?
Yes and its in very short supply (pardon the pun). Look at our nearest and dearest up the road, 52k every week, massive stadium and all the ingredients for top flight success, you would think, bar good stewardship. Ashley is a law unto himself and whilst he has got the black and whites onto a sound financial footing the club is not run well and success has not followed them either.
However the likes of Bournemouth, Leicester (via administration) and Burnley are all prospering ie none about to go tits up.
Burnley has never got above their station. They have gone up and down a couple of times but never prostituted their club for an instant PL fix. Their fans stuck by them, they have a no nonsense unfashionable British manager and they are surely a model club for the likes of SAFC to follow - IMHO.
One thing I don't get...
Princey is supposed to be a businessman, yet he doesn't want the Academy? Surely that has been one of the most profitable aspects of our club in recent years and its ongoing success serves both the first team and the clubs' coffers?
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I've only skimmed through the thread.
Leicester should NEVER be a model to follow.

One of my issues with the Wilder situation is (regardless of the fact wherever we finish will have been quite an achievement, considering) if we don’t make the play-offs from ‘the outside’ it will be the first ‘failure’ he will have had in the last 4/5 years.
His stock will probably drop a little, which he’ll be very aware of and I think it’s blatantly obvious he will blame the lack of investment for this.
play offsnow,
Mumsnet down Si?
I've been banned again.
I keep telling them that childbirth can't be all that hard, or they wouldn't let women do it.
Do your mittens have a string that runs up your arms and behind your shoulders, so that you don't lose them?
Pure utter guess here, but maybe he doesn't want the Academy because the asking price could be a bit rich for him?
Leicester should NEVER be a model to follow.
Agreed. Sadly 'plucky little old Leicester giving the top 4 a bloody nose', obscures the cheating admin wankers who diddled us out of an automatic promotion place in 2003.
And they play in blue.
And Vardy is a pig.
And they use clappers.
And they have a new plastic ground.
The Prince doesn't want the Academy and McCabe doesn't want foreign players. That's quite probably the case but if he's serious about taking the club forward then having a decent academy is, for a club such as ours, a pretty vital part of moving forward.
It's all rather baffling, this.
Afer all the speculation I would think that the recent Biggs tweet, which references a 'view from John Street', is actually closet to the reality of what is happening.
Like this? They need to get a move on and get it sorted. F’kin useless - both of them.
Anyone believing taking us up, being given a small, very small budget for this league and finishing top half after doing very well before November and still hovering around the play offsnow, is a failure for him wants their bumps feeling.
Finishing outside the playoffs will lower his stock... thats just how it is... and he’ll be very aware of it.

Depends if expectations were over the top. Not many expected a good challenge and only got giddy after the derby. The squads limitations should be obvious to all, fans and pundits. Look at the spend of those above us.
No it won't. Failure is relative, and you could hardly call this season a failure. I know some supporters have the appearance of disappointment about them, but perhaps taking stock and considering the squad we have, the levels of funding available to us, and how possibly McCabe imagined that the Prince would cough up far more significant sums if promotion were achieved, well all things considered we've done well. Of course I'd have loved us to be in with a shout of promotion - and who knows, it might still happen - but given where we were a year ago, well, to be in the upper levels of the Championship isn't exactly failure, is it?
Don’t diagree with any of this.Finishing in the top ten with the 18th highest budget in the league whilst playing attractive football and getting the fan base on side after numerous years of awful Football has got the support of 99.9% of our fan base.
I know that, the vast majority know that, Wit knows that. Let’s just hope that the eventual owner of our football club knows that.
If we lose Wilder we yet again manage to confirm our inability to make the correct decisions.
I at no point have said I think the job he’s done is a failure but I do however believe it will be seen as a bit of a failure to people outside the club.
There isn’t an argument to be had, It’s just a fact that Managing team top of championship with little budget - is an Amazing job and his stock was at an all time high.
Finishing 7th regardless of budget does not attract the same kudos.
