Fucking hell dont remember owen morrison looking unplayable! I wonder whatever happend to him because he was young like Tonge.

IIRC he had a very brief spell (this match included) where he looked decent. Warnock tinkered so much with his teams though that he never seemed to get a chance to establish himself.

One of his better performances alongside some good players. Played in fits and starts and rumoured to have disciplinary issues. Refused to sign an new contract after only 8 appearances and went to Stockport. Was sacked by Bradford as a result of off the field problems. Ended up back in ROI after a brief flirtation in the States. Was found guilty of drug pushing and various car offences in 2015.

This was I think a rare start for him after a series of decent sub appearances. I thought he looked very good, offered us another option for the left-hand side (though as shown on the highlights, could be switched effectively) but issues over his contract saw him drift away almost as quickly as he appeared.

There was a lot of chopping and changing this season due to the amount of games we ended up playing across three competitions. I thought he looked decent but never got a settled run in the team. To be fair to Warnock the team on the pitch were doing the business, so I'm not surprised he didn't get too much of a look in.

Thought Morrison was pretty untouchable but seemed to run with the ball until he got tired then wanted to pass too late.

Wednesday had a decent few youths in their set up in the mid/late 90's of which Morrison was one. They never really kicked on as a group. Hamshaw, Humphreys, Agogo, Briscoe, Nicholson, Platts, Jones, Geary, Haslam, Crane, Bromby, Barker, Stringer x2. I think they won a league or a cup with them.

I remember him looking very promising, and yes as others have said, he didn't have the best reputation but Warnock would have been the best man to get a tune from him. I don't know he wouldn't sign a contract with us, that would seem madness!?

Real shame it didn't work out, he definitely had talent but sadly not the discipline. I suspect Wednesday fans thought the same.

My first year with a season ticket at 11 so can only remember bit but he looked v good.

Pretty much the first time he had the ball for us, he took on three players...then decided the shoot from an impossible angle rather than rolling across the six yard box for a tap in for, I think, Peschisolido. That was him in a nutshell, some flashy ticks but fuck all in the way of end product. Awful player.

Think it was Brighton at home where he ran from his own half and just put the ball over. Decent player.

I remember this game and I'd thought we'd nicked another gem of the pigs when we got him, looks like he pissed it away reading the above comments, clearly talented.
