Overall profit of £30.7m

Okay, so its not a profit as such as McCabe has waivered 34million of debt off, but does the "overall profit of £30.7m" mean we could spend quite a lot? If so why aren't we? why are we offering 80k for players?

I understand before the waivered sum we stood at a loss of 4.4mill, so which is it the FFP calculations use, the 30.7mill proffit or the 4.4mill before the sum was waivered, or have i just totally missed the point in all this/

Why are so many people on here so obsessed with the value of bids we place.

Yes we've probably got money, doesn't mean we have to spend it in huge chunks, the money will be spent sensibly and if it means spending 100k on a Scottish winger rather than 1million on an English one then so be it
