If you could pick a song to get all four corners of the ground going in the build up to a game when the players come out of the tunnel.........what would it be?? What would you like to hear? What would get the fans going on the cold winter days / nights? In the do or die games that we need to win at important times in the season!.

My choice would be this one. Always been a closet fan of Adams since the early days to my shame and i've always liked this one and had it on in the car on route to away games in the past. I think it would be class to get everyone in the mood.

I thought this was going to be something to do with Dore and Totley tunnel.

That must be the ex train spotter in me.

This would have been most appropriate over the last few seasons when we were a comedy club, Metallica being little more than a comedy act. However, it looks like we may well be going straight now and we should be looking to project the right image.

Elizabethan Serenade.Now theres a blast from the past.Anyone remember it from the days of Joe Shaw and Alan Hodgkinson?

"This is the One" by the Stone Roses. I always remember it blasting out of the car stereo before we beat the pigs 3-1 at home under Warnock. At the time I took it as a sign we were going to give them the stuffing they deserved ...and we did. The beginning of the song is probably a bit too slow but the last minute or so is ideal for getting the atmosphere going.....well at least until about 10 minutes into the game when we realise we are still shit :)

(substitute McCabes head for the babe in the sun on the big screen).

Over the hills and far away..................Sheffield United come to play.

(From 1.10)........Time for the Blades, Time for the Blades..........etc.

1,2,3,4....

Harry Maguire, George Long, Chris Porter and Doyle..... Sheffield United.......(repeat until game starts)

Not bad. Not bad at all.

I reckon 'Heart of Courage' that they play now is good tunnel music and quite clearly it has the motivating affect on the players, so leave it alone I say.

Now back to the players............

I love Heart of Courage!

Fire - kasabian
Perfect replacement - Example
Won't go quietly - example
Nightmare - brainbug

None of the above are linked to our plight etc but are strangely fitting titles, but all uplifting tunes if you whack the volume up

Skip the ad, and listen all the way through as the tension slowly builds up to its dramatic finale.

Surely even someone who isn't classical music can feel the hairs on the back of their neck rise to this one.

And you've heard it before ...

Carmina Burana ~ O Fortuna - brilliantly conducted by Andre Rieu

Let it play and bring the teams out at say, 2 mins 45 secs in! :)

Forgot the words to O Fortuna - some are quite appropriate ;)

O Fortune,
like the moon
you are changeable,
ever waxing
and waning;
hateful life
first oppresses
and then soothes
as fancy takes it;
poverty
and power
it melts them like ice.

Fate – monstrous
and empty,
you whirling wheel,
you are malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
shadowed
and veiled
you plague me too;
now through the game
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.

Fate is against me
in health
and virtue,
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the strong man,
everyone weep with me!
