With 3 months left until a wave of contract expirations, who will the club be keeping an eye on? Got to be a few Tyrese's up for grabs.
Jimmy Dunne (QPR) - Seems the most likely. We wanted him in winter, and we all spied Wilder sticking an arm around him after that QPR game. Would fit straight in at right-back and offer cover at center-back. Also offers more ariel presence in both boxes.
Angus Gunn (Norwich) - If we're still in the Championship, the Cooper / Davies combo should be fine. If we go up, would be nice to have a dependable pair of hands in reserve. If Cooper wants to go for big money later on, we'd have a great Championship-level keeper ready to go.
Grady Diangana (West Brom) - Broke into the West Ham squad at 18 years old and they were absolutely gutted when he left for West Brom in 2020. Now 26, he's not pushed on in the way most expected, but been a solid Championship player for a few years now. Versatile; able to play on the wing, behind the striker and up front. His best performance this season came in a rare start as a number 9 against Portsmouth, scoring twice and assisting twice. There's definitely a player in there and Wilder loves a project.
Harry Darling (Swansea) - Another we were linked to in January. Must be a secret Blade, as he got himself sent off against us and scored against Leeds last time around. Probably not premier league quality, but could be an solid backup option if we're up, or around the first team if we're still here.
Kwame Poku (Peterborough) - Back from injury and back in the goals. There'll be a lot of interest in one of League One's stand-out players, but maybe Burrows can put in a good word.
Mo Salah (Liverpool) - Two PFA player of the year awards, one Puskás Awards, the fourth-highest goal scorer in Premier League history. Good rotation option with Andre Brooks.
