What about the save vs the pigs. He had just been crocked, was on the deck and managed to recoil and tip one over the bar that was destined for the top corner. Save of the season for me and, to counter your point, saved us the game.
To me, it seems a few are dissing Moore solely to elevate Blackman's standing (see what I did there?) when in reality he's probably of equal ability. Both are subject to blunders (as was Long funnily enough) so do we stick or twist the lot of them?
Completely agreed that was a fantastic save and did save us the points that day. Perhaps what I should have said is that more often than not he won't make the saves that win us the points.
The point I was trying to make in my post is that both keepers offer different things but on balance I don't think there is a huge gap between them, in the long run you'd back Blackman to eventually be the better keeper though so if there was a chance of a good bit of business then I'd be happy, but I don't want us to throw money at him just because. So in terms of stick or twist I'd stick with Moore unless the option came about to buy somebody better (or equal who will become better) for a good price.
