Those that watched the match on TV.

Did anyone hear our support tonight?
Those that watched the match on TV.
Why?There was nothing to hear.
Why?
You are obsessed ,maybe some want to watch football ?They all get all coked up and boozed up, go through our repertoire of shite songs, sing about how we're wankers at the Lane and then offer fuck all the second they get into the stand. The team and supporting them is a very secondary thing for the social media boys.
The depressing thing is that we're reliant on these useless cunts to actually create an atmosphere. But they haven't got a clue.
And a significant number spent the game stood in the concourse. The BBBC - Booze Before Blades Crew.
Pathetic away support. I sense far too many have forgotten where we've come from and have very quickly developed the 'football supporter's entitlement'. Expect to win regardless and let that serve as the basis for their entire approach to 'support'.
It was always going to be flat due to the layout of the away end. It's the exact opposite of what you want as away fans. But regardless, there was no effort from all but a handful.
Wolves have it down to a tee. They have home fans behind both goals. On one end everybody stands up, which we can only dream of. They were loud, they were non stop - I can't remember the last time Bramall Lane resembled anything similar. And to top it off they completely nullify the away fans by putting them in that shitty lower tier down the side of the pitch and a mile away from it.
Yes they might be top but the noise they created is something we simply wouldn't replicate. Partly because of our stadium. Mainly because of our fans.

I'm not one to slag our fans off in general but I'm really pissed off tonight.
On way back on the minibus and the result is the least of my annoyance.
Fans who've clearly got too carried away, the idiots a few months ago who kept saying we'd get promoted, now getting on player's backs. Idiot behind me shouting for McCabe to spend what Wolves have.
Fucking wake up. Villa had a 36 year old centre half who probably earns in a week what our first 11 does. We've signed League 1 players in their late 20s and early 30s who've never played at this level. Do you think thats because we can afford much better?
Too many of our fans have got this mentality now that money is irrelevant. Yes it is. Massively. It just doesn't guarantee success.
As for our shite support tonight. Quiet as fuck in the ground but rowdy and raucous as hell on the concourse at half time as usual for the social media brigade. Fuck off.
Tonight should be a wake up call for the carried away brigade. We will struggle to finish top 6 but will still likely finish in a very respectable position with many players above their real level.
Only grumble at the staff tonight is why is Duffy now not deemed good enough? Sorry but I honestly don't get that.
Fair enough bxb,i just don't get the lads making a noise in the concourse but can't do it where matters in the stands...away fans nearby used to spur people on,not quieten them down. The layout of the away allocation..difficult to generate atmosphere
Conceding so early
Wolves fans very vocal to one side and above for the entire match
Fans are right to be pissed off, we were not the SUFC i know and love tonight regardless of the opposition.
They looked great on the radio too.Fair play to Wolves, made the most noise I've seen from an opponent so far this year.
I think smartphones and social media have played a big part in killing the atmosphere at the lane, all the young men on the kop seem to be on their phones all game instead of making some noise.
Has something gone off with Wilder.
I hope not
Wolves home support was excellent, compare that to the deathly silent morgue like atmosphere of the lane this season and you know there is something not right with our fanbase.
10 years ago the kop would be bouncing. I think smartphones and social media have played a big part in killing the atmosphere at the lane, all the young men on the kop seem to be on their phones all game instead of making some noise.
They also have smartphones and social media in the Black Country.

As someone who can only get to a handful of games a season I've definitely noticed a deterioration in the atmosphere at the Lane over the last ten years.. This season has been poor on the whole. Especially when you consider the circumstances and events of the past eighteen months. The game against Wendy was a great example.
The ground would always be rocking for big games. Now when you start singing people look at you gone out. Very few on the kop actually join in any more. There is very little noise in G and H blocks of the south stand either.
Grounds where there has been a good atmosphere in recent times:
Leeds
Port Vale
Wolves
Crystal Palace
Derby
What do they have in common - all of their most vocal fans are right next to the away fans and they aren’t cordoned off like on Bramall Lane.
If you only get to a handful of games, how can you judge that this season has been poor on the whole?
But away fans have always been housed on the Bramall Lane end. Hasn't stopped our fans from creating a great atmosphere in the past.
Because of the seven games I've been to this season it has been poor.
That is also true. In the past tickets were more available on the lower corner of the South Stand though.
I agree that our support isn’t what it was. I’m just making an observation that the best atmospheres are generally created when fans are housed closer together.
Right,so it is wrong of you to say on the whole. The seven games you have seen in your opinion it was poor.
I take it when you do attend, you stand, sing, clap shout?
