What is an 'indisciplined hit'? Disappointing not to score but to suggest he deliberately or consciously didn't keep the ball down is bizarre. It was a first time hit of a ball which narrowly went over the bar. If he was thinking of anything, which he wasn't because stuff like that is instinctive, it would more likely be to score and increase the suitors in January.

He's become a lazy footballer. Not that he doesn't run about, but actually having any concentration or focus on the outcome. Even his goal against Southampton, he had the mardys on just lashing it and then not celebrating.

Take the Leeds game. He should have scored. He even had time but he just lashed at the ball, no proper focus. Same here. No effort to keep it down, just swings away like he couldn't give flying whatever to the outcome. Then didn't even keep a basic cross in play
You could say the same for Berge's free kick but he isn't walking around with a face like a smacked arse.

Someone put Fleck in an oxygen tent. This season has done it for me. Most of the best chances have fallen to him, including the pen and he's managed to fuck them all up. I can't look at the mardys ungrateful twat's face anymore.

He's a professional footballer. To suggest he can't be arsed is off the mark. Do you think CW would put him in if he couldn't be arsed? I don't.

I think it just boils down to he's not that good. Saying that, Kevin De B smashed a relatively simple opportunity to hit the target well wide in the second half. What was his ulterior motive?

If Wilder thinks we haven't been sussed in wide areas he's in serious denial. The overloads are countered now by teams, we no longer get the 3 v 2 situation down the sides so we end up going backwards and ultimatley run out of ideas. It's time to get the ball in early but we are so robotic in what we do the players aren't doing this. Only Sander tried something different and it nearly paid off for only for John 'million dollar baby' Lundstram to fluff his lines again.

I do and said it after the Wolves game (Nuno even said they had done their homework on our overloads). The opposition move an extra player across so we can't get the advantage, this is happening every game now.

There is a total lack of quality in our crossing and final balls....hence why we needed to add attacking quality in the window....but we didnt.

Our play at the moment leads to Baldock or Stevens having to make a hurried cross and they haven't the quality to do it consistently well. Somehow we need to get players like Norwood, mcgoldrick, making the final ball. Pity there arent aren't more options like Duffy Freeman etc.

I think we are still very good at creating overloads and crossing opportunities. But across the board ( Berge excluded), we lack quality crossing. Like we lack quality from set pieces. Sometimes we do overplay, but that is not the main issue. It is a real challenge, since this is really our only means of creating chances.

Baldock cant cross the ball. When hes in possession so much in that area its a big problem for us.

Also the coaching staff need to get hold of our lot and just do an extra hour after every training session on just putting crosses into the box from out wide. There’s no excuse not to make 8/10 crosses hit a target roughy around the penalty spot.

I think George has been one of the better players so far this season, he looks hungry and in great shape, was impressed by him v Liverpool in particular. However, in terms of our attacking play, he has two options: overlap himself or look for Bash to do so. In my mind, bomb on and put a ball in. The second he steps inside, he has nowhere to go. He has no left peg and simply half arses a cross in or goes back to Berge. It kills all our momentum and leaves us vulnerable to the counter.

If we accept that we're not great at crossing, I'm happy to settle for simply bombarding the opposition and pinging plenty in, in the hope that the opposition don't have time to get set, and one of them comes off.

It's a much harder skill to get right but I wish we'd put some first time crosses in. Plenty of opportunities when the ball is rolled back at a friendly pace to whip it in first time. Instead it gets controlled, moved, recycled.

The slow methodical build up play with too many unnecessary passes is so out of date these days. The modern way to play in the Prem is with quick, efficient and direct passing, that gets you from a defensive situation to a meaningful attack in the blink of an eye. Zipping the ball about in a deliberate manner with conviction and confidence. If you can’t manage to do that in this league, you’re ultimately destined to fail.
