Genuinely feel sorry for you. It's been pretty poor fare for as long as you can remember, assuming at 5 y.o. you didn't really appreciate the ultimate Sheffield double.
I can't really remember the Currie/Woody years but at least I had the Bassett years to be thankful for (and some of the Porterfield era too).
I hope in the future we can give your generation some better memories.

teams have ups and downs , weve had 5 seasons of disappointment
