Kelly for me but the best goalkeeping display I have ever witnessed from any team in my lifetime was Mel Rees against Everton away. Rees at the time was Wales's number 2 and Evertons Neville Southall Wales number 1. I remember Southall shaking his head in disbelief and clapping most of his saves that day.

Most consistent- Alan Kelly

Most man of the match performances- Mel Rees.
Only played about 10 times for us. Came from no where, no one had ever heard of him
But he was either really good or brilliant every time he played for us.
Easily the best (better than Kelly) based on performances but you can't really judge any player on 10 matches.

Most entertaining/ biggest character -John "Budgie" Burridge.
Nickname Budgie due to his non stop talking. His pre match warm ups were legendary.
He'd hang off the cross bar and walk on his hands across the penalty area. He was a bit of a gymnast and had this skill to make saves look spectacular as he'd arch his back and almost do a somersault before rolling about 5 times after he'd tipped the shot over the bar.

Loved burridge absolute headcase but a decent keeper as well.

I'd agree with Kelly, but Simon Tracey a close second for me. His first 2 seasons back in the top flight were excellent and he was a brilliant shot stopper. Kelly was the best though, also a fantastic shot stopper, and had great command of his area and rarely made mistakes.

In my lifetime Tracey for natural ability.

Kelly edged him on fitness and application.

cant remember his name, warnock got him in to play burnley at turf moor the poor lad had a fuckin mare ,looked like he was going to shit himself whenever they came near our box.
