It’s been over 2 years since Baldock carried any sort of threat going forward (one thunderbastard aside). 2 years of the same lack of quality in the final third, refusing to beat a man, endless cutting back and aimless crosses. Genuinely think Osborn offers more in that role and it’s worth sacrificing a right footer playing there, particularly if the new centre half can settle in the RCB role. Much better footballer, in better form, good connection with Berge and an abundance of energy.
Longer term I think I’d be happy to see Baldock leave. We need to freshen the squad up and he’s been too average for too long, and Bogle should be first choice next season.
