Selles isn't a prick,
Isn't a wanker,
And didn't set out with the intention of this not working out. This is more than likely his entire life, not just his job and career.
Its been a disaster, but there is no need for person attacks.
Good luck to him, and let's behind the next guy even if its not Wilder.
Yeah some of the name calling has not been a good look on some.

While a lot of us think that they could have sacked him sooner (probably Millwall game), they've acted quickly to change it.

Would they have given any new manager Ipswich away (probably the hardest fixture on paper) as their first match, especially as Selles had finally got the players he wanted?

Fair play to T-Blade for calling this a few weeks ago, saying he had 2 games post Millwall.

100% this 🙌🙌⚔️

Once you get onto the gravy train of the managerial merry-go-round, you'll never be short of a job. No matter how bad you are, no matter how many times you've been sacked, you'll always have a pay cheque from some club desperate to believe that this time, you'll make it work. Then, if all else fails, there's always TV punditry to fall back on and your compo from previous failures.

I don't wish any ill on Selles. Christ, why would anyone? He seems like a decent bloke and none of this was done on purpose. He just wasn't good enough. He wasn't good enough for Hull and he certainly wasn't good enough for us. I was really desperate to believe that this time, he'd make it work. But he didn't and it was just gash.

GLTTL. Thanks, ta-ra.

It was always going to be difficult to convince the players to buy into his revolutionary style of play, which was totally at odds to anything that had gone before. It was made an even harder sell, by his lack of a past professional footballer CV.
I just don’t think the players were ever really convinced and it showed.

But putting all that to one side, it was the bizarre team selections and substitutions, in his short tenure that shon a light, on his lack of footballing nous.

Convincing the board to appoint him in the first place was some impressive feat, but I hope he invests his payoff wisely, because I honestly cannot see him ever getting another football club to appoint him into a managerial role.

Hes managed a grand total of 8 months in charge with both Hull and United. Been sacked twice in that time.

No doubt he will have been rewarded handsomely from both clubs for failure with the termination package. Great this football management lark, you can get very wealthy and richly rewarded for being utter dog shit at your job.

thank fuck for that - should never have been appointed ... just repeating what happened in the Premier with Heckingbottom when we lost 5-0 at Burnley
