In all honesty I thought Mcatee was fairly anonymous until they were reduced to 10 men. He looked better with the extra space in midfield. He's young and will only get better. Khadra was superb.WHAT A LOAD OF FUCKING BOLLOCKS

He looked a bit reluctant to get the ball deep maybe in case he got pressured and lost it - probably to expect on first league start. He looked far more comfortable getting it out wide on the attack and I thought he looked like he had a great touch and could be a great player. In all honesty I thought Mcatee was fairly anonymous until they were reduced to 10 men. Khadra looks like an uber delivery driver. But fuck trying to catch him for my kebab. He can have it and I'll reorder from Imrans. Their delivery is good, but much slower build up.Touch and movement on McAtee was really good. He will build on that and I think he will be superb for us.
Khadra is one of those truly exciting players who can beat a man with skill and pace. I’m sure he will turn out to be equally frustrating at times but just what we have been crying out for.
We have the potential to be a really exciting team this season, we certainly have the ability to grind out results, we just need to finish teams off.
heckys managed it well
mcatee needs settling in and handling. with care.
thought mcburnie looked much more focused when he came on and was unlucky their keeper made a great save
poor mistake from Egan made it tighter than it should have been but we managed it well
some of our passing and movement was sublime
Egan getting slated but it's a great substitution and complete formation overhaul th
Egan held his hands up he underhit the pass that was pounced on ...it happens not slated him but it was his only mistake.at saw where we were being sloppy with the passing. Alex Neil needs some credit for it more than Egan needing slating.
Maybe they looked outstanding because tonight they were ready, but previously they weren't?
It's an odd take to have a pop tonight...
Ball wasn't really played in central areas, mainly wide with fullbacks and centre backs. Not their faultI didn't think Mcatee influenced the game much other than the sending off tbh. He's got ability but I think he and Ndiaye were pretty quiet.
McAtee also gave the ball away a few times needlessly and lost several duels due to a lack of strength/aggression.Ball wasn't really played in central areas, mainly wide with fullbacks and centre backs. Not their fault
Why are you trying to find fault? Have you even had a guest visit to the training ground this month? What do you know about the new boys fitness, shape, tactical work (etc) since joining?!Aye they’ve only had pre-season but that three day gap between Sunday and last night made all the difference![]()

Rhetorical questions.
I was encouraging self-reflection. From your good self.Waste of time typing them all out then werent it?
The dig is at the fans on here who were finding bullshit excuses for the managers subs/lack of on Sunday.I was encouraging self-reflection. From your good self.
I was quite impressed. They played quite high up the pitch and pressured us really well. A bit like us when we first came back into the Championship and had that no fear attitude.Sunderland are a bunch of thugs
Dig? Your original post very much looks like a dig at us not playing McAtee and Khadra in previous games. The dig is at the fans on here who were finding bullshit excuses for the managers subs/lack of on Sunday.
Glad to see that he was a bit more adventurous last night.

That's how it reads. Hard to take a different interpretation as you're suggesting now.Thats just how you’ve interpreted it.
Like I said a bunch of thugs one tackle could have broke McAtee’s legI was quite impressed. They played quite high up the pitch and pressured us really well. A bit like us when we first came back into the Championship and had that no fear attitude.
Obviously part of the game plan to rough us up a bit but they were lucky not to be down to 9 men.
