Only 2nd round ticket holders should get a ticket

I've hardly missed any matches at home since the late 60's. This season I've been ill a few times and missed a league match and both the cup matches. I would have been there if able.

I did however still pay through my season ticket and the cup tie scheme for all the matches missed..

I'm not allowed a ticket to Old Trafford according to the OP?

You paid for a ticket so that's all that matters really. Fingers crossed you are in good health for the 3rd Round.

All the stay aways on Saturday should NOT be able to get a ticket until those that went to the Oldham game on Saturday have had a chance to buy one. That should help encourage people to attend the earlier cup rounds in future seasons.
Exactly I was shocked by the crowd on Saturday but when we get man U away now everyone wants to go I've been to every Saturday home match this season and those of us who went to Oldham should be the first ones to get tickets to man U

Ignoring the system in place then, it's an away game. Those who have been to away games should be first in the queue using that logic.

So, the crux of it is, someone who might not have been to a game this season until the cup game against Oldham should get priority over those who have been to most games this season but didn't go to Oldham?

Seems like a stupid idea to me. Barely worth starting a thread about and definitely not worth over 100 responses.

With all due respect, Bollocks.;)

I'm not a season ticket holder but Saturday was the first home game I've missed and that was due to work so nothing I could do. As I'm not a season ticket holder I'm paying more and putting more into the club therefore "I am an even bigger Blade than many others". I was also one of only a couple of hundred who went to Fleetwood in the JPT and am therefore one of only very few loyal blades who should be given preference for tickets to Old Trafford .

"I told you we should have gone to the Oldham game..........................."

I've seen United at Sealand Road, Fellows Park, The Old Show Ground and Springfield Park.

I cried on Leppings Lane on Boxing Day, was yards from the ball after Don Givens missed, saw Hopkins last minute goal, watched us not turn up in Cardiff and endured corporate Wembley ale prices to drown my Burnley sorrows

I've travelled home late into the night after Tuesday nights in Ipswich, Tottenham, Peterborough and Northampton.

I've seen us win at Anfield, draw in Rotterdam and lose at virtually every London ground.

I've had to sit in the away end at Highbury, Old Trafford and last year Scunthorpe and Chesterfield just to see the Blades.

I've still got Keith Edwards autograph, my Junior Blades membership card from 1981 and both my Ajax and Space invaders Hobbott team shirts. And God knows what rests in my Mums loft.

I've had cats called Dearden, Deano and Edwards. And there is no blue anywhere in my house.

I consider myself a United fan, a loyal one and a Blade. Yet my loyalty points will be lower than the average 15 year old. I moved away in 1993 and simply life, a wife and a 408 mile round trip sadly prevent me from getting more loyalty points.

Does this lack of points mean I'm not really a Blade and should hang my head in shame?

Oh and before I'm judged please consider that I will be at the JJB stadium on Boxing Day, which has not gone down well with the missus, and the points as with all the others over the last ten years will be on one of my mates accounts.

Loyalty is more than the points on a card..

Great post.

Is that true about the blue in the house?

:-)

Nope. You should have started younger. :p

The reason I stay away on Saturdays is because I work, if I didn't work I couldn't afford to go anyways, so I'm fucked either way. Unless I get true/barneybladeseason ticket out of the bin,

liverpool got 12000 and theres no bigger safety issue game than that
Was just going off this from the fa;

"In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% of all accommodation for which tickets are issued providing these tickets are in a fully segregated area"

Great post.

:)

Thank you.

Yes it is true. There may be some elements like the sky in a painting or a book cover. I do have some jeans too, but I don't really count them. However, there is no item that is anywhere near pig blue, no item that is completely blue and whilst it may seem odd my life seems happier without looking at blue.
