Despite a poor performance and being stood in front of a racist homophobe I did particularly enjoy one feature of the day. The various Brayford's Beard songs gave me something to laugh about while the performance on the pitch was more an encouragement to cry.

For anyone who didn't hear them they included:

His first name is John (is John, is John), his second name is Brayford (is Brayford, is Brayford), he's got himself a beard (a beard, a beard), and that's the way we like it (we like it, we like it). Followed by O-ing.

Then 'We all dream of a team of Brayford's Beards', 'Oh lord Brayford's Beard' and 'Brayford show us your beard.'

Slightly pointless I know but I liked them.

It also had a couple of outings for the following (lifted straight from Man U fans singing about Januzaj)...

I want to tell you, I might as well do, about a boy who can do anything,
He comes from Scotland, his name is Ryan....
Ryan Flynn, Ryan Flynn, Ryan Flynn

If you don't know the tune, it's this:

As discussed in the shoutbox earlier, the term "beard" has more than one meaning in modern parlance:

Yeah I'm a fan of that to, would be nice to see that started along with other more interesting chants rather than the same old ones trotted out all the time. I also think a lot of players appreciate specific chants about them. I'd like a long rendition of Jamie/Jose in a kolo/yaya style.

A Wednesday mate of mine said he'd like to do it with Kieran Lee. Think this ones MUCH better.

Anyone hear the bloke in the benny hat get told to shut up and sit down when he attempted a modern twist on a classic?

"Ohh ahh bob Harris, I say oooo ahh Bob Harris" :D

Yeah, you must have been stood near me on the far left of the stand (it certainly wasn't me :D).

There was also a couple of "Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, Bobby Harris, down the wing, down the wing".

When's the Brayford's Beard Day going to happen? Or do we leave the organization of wanky theme days to the cross-city wankers?

While I like the chanting of Harry I'd like to see people use the Yohan Cabaye song for him: 'We've got Maguire, Harry Maguire, I just don't think you understand, coz we've got Maguire, Harry Maguire, the greatest defender in the land.'

Also liked the chanting of Scougall yesterday, and I'm becoming more of a fan of shouting Matt Hill (as in each name separately).

Best start re-learning the words
