Definitely a CB but can play with both feet so could be a replacement for Jack?

Why Omar Colley now looks like most likely Sheffield United signing in January, according to reports

Sampdoria defender Omar Colley has emerged as the most likely January signing for Sheffield United.
That’s according to The Sheffield Star, anyway, who say the Blades have made “tentative” enquiries about Colley in recent weeks.

Feel like our enquires should be forthright not tentative - we stand about 1% chance of staying up if something miraculous happens.

That decreases exponentially the longer we leave things in January - we really need to have the deals lined up and ready to go straight away. No point waiting until the 30th, we may as well not bother doing them and save money at that point.

Seems Ben Davies from Preston is more likely. That would presumaby have to be permanent though and Wilder's said it'll be loans, of course.

Loan with a view to a permanent.

If it’s down to wages, Fulham I reckon will offer more

Also, as things stand Fulham looking like they have a better chance of stopping up.

Therefore, I’m out

Won't Davies be a free agent in the summer? With Preston unlikely to push for promotion, they may decide to let him go in Jan for a low(ish) fee

Preston's Ben Davies said to be uninterested in Sheffield United move

Sheffield United look set to miss out on Preston North End’s Ben Davies, according to latest reports.
Sky claimed earlier in the week that the Blades were keen on reigniting their summer interest in Davies, who is out of contract this summer.
However, Lancs Live now claim that there has been no contact between the clubs and that Davies would prefer to look elsewhere and has little interest in a move to Bramall Lane.

Players know that unless we were to sell joc they would be backup once he's recovered. Unless he never fully 'recovers' sometimes long term injuries can see the player never get back to what they were before.

weve still got 2 foreign loans havent we ? maybe colley and maja are those 2 or even emmanuel dennis might be back in the equation in any case i can see us bringing 3 loan players in this january
