As far as I know 3 players who have played for United have been in Olympic football squads. Murphy and Veart for Australia in 1992 and Suffo for Cameroon in 2000. There may be more...

Also Carney for Australia in 2008 (when he was actually playing for us).

I share that...besides I'm English and don't particularly like the idea of a 'GB' team - but that's me...
