That's funny. I've been to Scotland a fair bit and the Scots have always struck me as sound as a pound.
They paid 10 million pound for their own academy player ?I think you mean Shola Ameobi...

Ah I seeIt's an old joke. Shola Ameobi was asked in FourFourTwo if he had any nicknames and he said no. So they asked what Bobby Robson called him and he answered 'Carl Cort'.
I see the Swansea fans are taking this well:

Not for a while I reckon, given our total outlay so far.
Next Summer at the earliest, and I'd hazard he'll already be at a new club by then.
I think he's missed his chance of joining us when he couldn't make his mind up, so we signed the lad from Bournemouth which in turn allowed us to pay a bit more for McBurnie.Managers don’t forget players they like. The Maupay file won’t be closed, just left in the pending tray...

You can tell he must be good because most Swans fans are now saying McBurnie is at best, very average.
The kindest comments are saying he’s a decent Championship player who will struggle badly in the PL.
Basically Roy’s “View From” is going to be interesting telling us how crap our new signing is. Talk about bitter.
If we still in Premier next summer we’ll have bigger fish to fry than Maupay tbhNo bids.
If we are still in Premier League next summer,I would suggest we’ll be looking at a different level of player than Maupay tbhNot for a while I reckon, given our total outlay so far.

Probably next Friday if the media team have anything to do with it......'behind the scenes' is being created as we speak
Solid point, well made.Probably next Friday if the media team have anything to do with it......'behind the scenes' is being created as we speak
How long does a cough & drop actually take?
Wouldn't be surprised if we were looking at a different level of player by January atm, all sorts of rumours and records being smashed[/QUO

That's probably why he looks so unfit, they wasn't concentrating on the medicalWell weren't they doing the medical on Lys while they were filming? so hopefully they can finish the edit tonight to release tomorrow.

You can't afford to stand still.
Foxy can't hit the "Confirmed" button. It's gone to Villa.
Amen to that Brother. This is a god point. I was looking at spending by the top six clubs a week or so ago.
Even with their fantastic teams/squads, the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, etc., had all spent an average of 71.5 million in the transfer window (up to that point, and I think that was the average figure, 70 odd million anyway).
You can't afford to stand still.
After they’ve done the bloody media video!!
