One thing that does please me about McBurnie is that he seems like he'll be a good laugh next season, when we are celebrating winning the League Cup. He'll definitely be one who would enjoy launching pints around in the Copthorne.

Re - post #1935. It would appear I can be arsed after all, albeit during the dull 10 minute drive back to work after dinner.
So then, to the tune of "Donald where's your troosers"...

We signed him from the Jacks in Wales
We couldn't wait for the January sales
His shirt fits better than Brian Gayle's
Oli-ver Mc-Burnie

He scores them high and he scores them low
Now he's a Blade just watch him go
He cost more money than Jostein Flo
Oli-ver Mc-Burnie

Unique ? Maybe
Scottish themed, absolutely.

I'll save you all the trouble of marking out of ten..

Hadn’t even considered this record-breaking aspect of the deal...

I stopped reading when they got confused between Neil Warnock and Chris Wilder. “Neil Wilder” ffs, how hard is journalism to get right!?

I would agree but I don't think there's a need for him to be under a pseudonym. Think he's happy enough as it is with the attention he receives on twitter when he posts cryptic tweets and stuff like this
That is true, but you can post on here under a different name to your Twitter handle. He may want to say more at times and doing it on here is the vehicle for that.

To be honest theres nothing hes said there that anybody on here couldn't have said.

The stories coming out from reputable media outlets says a deal has been agreed.

Hes only reiterated this really.

Swansea podcaster has just said on TS that they’ve sold him.

WalesOnline poll final results on whether Swansea were right to sell:
Yes – best for the club in the long term: 46%
No – he was too important: 54%

What annoys me about this deal is the number of fans (of other clubs) that keep pointing out that if OM is worth £20m then X, Y and Z player must be worth £40/50/60m.

The amount clubs pay for players these days are based more on who is buying them and contract length, than it is player ability.

Harry Maguire for example - if Juventus wanted to sign him the price would be £60m. However, Man United want him so it is £80m - Leicester now know Man United are desperate and have now changed the valuation to closer to £100m. Nothing to do with Maguires ability.

We’re going on a journey

Billy, Didds, Mcburnie

Driving on the road up the prem

League one to the top

Singing on the kop

Driving on the road up the prem

We don’t take shit from anyone

All we wanna do is have some fun

We’re the blades (The mighty blades)

(fill in the rest....)

stick whilst you are ahead......

It would probably be wise to do so and I could do with the cash.
Although the last verse does get in a dig at W*******y and has the potential to intercharge crap former Blade players name with the C-bomb....if not sung in the family stand.

All in all , this transfer window's not looking too bad for a club that , according to Adrian Durham , is not even taking the Premier League seriously . What a silly sausage .

( On reflection , I now realise that odious twat is the expression I was looking for ) .

Fuck me. Read down this timeline. We've spent about £28m and about to spend another £17/20m and he's slagging lot off. Questioning Wit and his knowledge of SUFC?!

Wit says its a done deal, get those champagne's saved for when united first spend mad money we can open them
