ALL THE EMOJIS

He wouldn't get in their team though. ;)

"Mandy" By Barry Manilow

McBurnie,
You came to the lane and you scored one,
On our opening day,
McBurnie.
We went to your place and you scored one,
So we asked you to stay,
McBurnie.

If we're confident enough to be thinking about songs maybe someone can fill in some words (I can't be arsed/lack the talent) for "Donald where's your troosers" ..... Oliver McBurnie fits in well with the chorus.
Can't think of anyone else using this tune (probably a good reason for that) and it fits in with him being a bit Scottish too.

starting XI v BFC

...........................Henderson
............Jags.............Egan...........JOC
Baldock.....................................................Stevens
...............Norwood..............Fleck
..............................Robinson
........................OMB..........Sharp
Basham will start and at least one of Fleck and Norwood will not.

That's the beginning and the end of me speculating on team matters, I'll leave it those better qualified now. (CW & AK)

For me, this window goes a long way to making up for the Jones/ Birchenall day (OK wasn’t in one day but you get my drift).

Redemption, it’s only taken the club 52 years, I’ve still got PTSD. The club owe us for that one

Re - post #1935. It would appear I can be arsed after all, albeit during the dull 10 minute drive back to work after dinner.
So then, to the tune of "Donald where's your troosers"...

We signed him from the Jacks in Wales
We couldn't wait for the January sales
His shirt fits better than Brian Gayle's
Oli-ver Mc-Burnie

He scores them high and he scores them low
Now he's a Blade just watch him go
He cost more money than Jostein Flo
Oli-ver Mc-Burnie

Unique ? Maybe
Scottish themed, absolutely.

I'll save you all the trouble of marking out of ten..

£20 million, I’ve just read. That’s quite something for Sheffield United.

Quietly, is he worth it?

If he goes on a full season goal drought and scores the goal that keeps us up on the final day he’d more than pay for the fee we’re spending.

I’ve always preferred him to Maupay throughout our hunt of both, and I think he’ll suit us.

Olly McBurnie is on his way
Olly McBurnie is here to stay
And I don’t care that he looks like a chav
As he’s a Blade today

Ohh ohh ohh ohh
