I think the back 5 are the positions CW least wants to meddle with. They are the players that make our system so unique and so powerful. Any players coming into those positions have the most to adapt to and learn.

After another striker I'm curious to see if we will use our second loan spot.

RWB? Freeman looks like a new signing this pre season. Never looked so fit and started most of the games

I agree, it would be one of the hardest positions to recruit for and integrate. Like you say it’s hugely important to how we play which is why I think we need an upgrade on what we have at RWB. I can’t see them cutting it tbh. Hope I’m wrong but I thought it was our weak spot for a while.

Right back is the easiest position to play in football. A little more complicated if a wing back, but still should be plenty of alternatives to Baldock and Freeman. I'd be happy for both to stay though. UTB.

Why would we do that when it’s up to Swansea to settle the sell on.

Surely all three could come to a reciprocal arrangement although BCFC may prefer circa £2.5 mill 🙂

I completely disagree, the role of full backs is becoming increasingly more technical, especially in our team.

Wilder said today hopefully have some more signing's in next 24-48 hours.

Yep. Need to be fitter than almost any other player, as well as being able to defend and attack to a decent standard. I think your pure out and out winger is the easiest on the pitch.

Or Goalkeeper , don’t even have to catch it anymore.

Sidestepping any question about the opinion expressed
What on gods earth has this got to do with McBurnie?

Ah he of ladies tights fame. I think he’s been dead about fifteen years so good as he once was don’t think he can cut it in the premier league any more.

I don’t suppose an RIP would sound very sincere now given my suggestion😟

I didn’t know he had slipped off the mortal coil though. He was a great player in his day.

Yes excellent, another from that era that probably didn’t get the recognition he deserved. Just checked and it was 2004 in Seattle of cancer. Only 58. As you say a bit late now but definitely an RIP retrospectively.

Well do better than that mate, I really think so.

Never seen a smarter manager than Wilder or a more together team capable of playing really good, different, style of football.

I think we’ll have a very good start, a tough end of year, but finish in the top half.
A bit like the first season in the championship really.

I’ve had exactly the same thought mate. Think we’ll start out well but ultimately will lose ground as we won’t have enough depth of quality. But we’ll still finish respectably and not be in a relegation dog fight.

I think we will 100% be involved in a relegation fight, probably until the last day. But I also think we will 100% survive.

We'll be nowhere near relegation come the end of the season. I stated as much in the Shoutbox 'other night, so I may as well nail my colours well and truly to the mast and post it in here.

Paul Weller the hypocrite, champagne socialist. Spends the whole of the seventies and eighties slagging off the Tories with his Eton Rifles garbage and then sends all his kids to private school. Vote Boris
If you choose your party based on what school certain celebrities send their children to then let's hope to god idiots like you never get any power
