Great news for him. Will only do him good being around some other young talented players.

He was ready for the premier league this season but (tin hat on) Mr Adventurous didn’t see it that way. He should be back here on a long contract learning from the best and changing games for us. Cole Palmer at Man City who people are getting excited about a possible loan is 18 and with their first team squad. Macatee is 20.
Ollie lost pretty well a season to illness & injury, so he's still playing catch up a bit. He needs regular games in men's football this season

I know how highly Hecky rates him (because Hecky has told me personally). He will become a big player for us.

I don't see him as quite ready for the EPL, but I think he definitely will be next season. I trust the club on this.

He will become a big player for us if we manage to keep him and we are more likely to keep him if we manage to stay up and in my view we are more likely to stay up with him available to us. Whilst I have to admit I don’t see him every day and unlike
you I don’t have the privilege of our manager’s ear, my uneducated opinion from seeing him when he came back from illness and in pre season was that used properly he would be of benefit and grow into the squad.

Unfortunately I have no trust in anyone, not even me. So I will have to hope and wait and see.

Needs a new deal sorting ASAP yes he’s a blade and I’m sure he’d love to stay at United but the other lads in that England under 20’s squad will be earning exponentially more. I’m not saying we can match those wages but he should be rewarded for his achievements.

He will only be a big player for us if the club offer him a new contract and of course he signs it. Last year of his current contract is not great

He is a blades fan which helps , but if the club stall he won’t hang around

Having watched this lad play, he is in the same mold as Louie March. Instantly recognizable as a natural footballing talent. Talented, and with an array of gifts that seem so easily welcome to their feet.
Not surprised that they have carried that assurance and their natural gifts into competitive football.
Barring unseen tragedy, there is no reason why these two exciting young talents should not grace the Blades first team in the near future.
They both seem mature and well grounded individuals who should grace BDTBL in the not too distant future. GLTTL.

Got a couple of friends who are season ticket holders at Port Vale, they’ve done nothing but rave about him

We have some really good talent coming through. Let's hope some get into the first team. Be nice to have local lads doing well.

Been to see my local side today as OA in the visiting team. We can be excited about this lad. He is at the core of what Vale do and ran the game in the first half. His quick 20 yard forward pass opened the Cambridge defence for Vale’s goal. He was a little less involved in the second half as the home side woke up but was in the action again near the end, creating a couple of chances that weren’t taken. He plays with his head up, controls the ball instantly and has quick feet. It was noticeable how good he was at emerging from tight situations with the ball under control. He doesn’t give the ball away, talks to his team mates a lot and was by some margin the best player on the field.
