I don't think he's as bad as many make out and he was a potential victim of Wilder's obsession with results and winning. He's only 22 so he's not much older than Peck, Brooks and Seriki. I think the price tag causes most of the negativity as it came with expectation, which is not his fault. If we had bought Seriki or Peck for a similar amount and they performed the same as they did last season, people would be more critical of their flaws, which they did have, and they would have received more flack like Cannon has received. If we had bought him for only £2-3mil then I don't think he'd get as much crap as he does.
You're making a case for Cannon to try and prove your point.

I watched him a few times for Stoke after I'd heard we were interested, and he was awful.

Since he's been at the lane we've seen nothing to suggest your optimism is anything but wishful thinking.

I really do hope he starts to look like a player but currently there's nothing and I mean nothing, to even remotely suggest it.

Think he's looked okay in pre season tbf

Against York, Burton and Chesterfield, that's no measure of a player we're looking at to lead the line.

When he's done it for us over a dozen games, and I hope he does, I'll change my opinion.

Am I missing something here? Why does this mean he’s definitely going to Rangers?
Because there are lots of utd “fans” who want to beat the club or the owners or the manager down because they are not happy with the owners or the manager or themselves and there are no consequences so they post negativity whenever they can either to get a reaction or so they can repost later and tell people who don’t care how right they were.

You do realise they are in the champions league potentially. That's a pretty big draw.

Given that we previously signed players from the Scottish Premier League to play for us in League One in Scougall and Flynn, who were very average, I won't deem this as a loss to us.

Rak-Sakyi still available then. Rangers won't do both.

I'd take him on another loan deal. I think he'd go well under Selles. I can't see anybody paying what Palace are asking right now.
I wonder how much he actually enjoyed his time here. Do we have any quotes from him? Would he even be interested in coming back another year? Wilder's gone, but being left out of the playoffs final squad might still have left a sour taste in his mouth.

A song for our new Finnish prodigy

Replace egg man with ant man

Replace walrus with bladesmen

I am the antman I am the blades man …..
