Can't really blame him for wanting a nice, quiet (?) life in the sun with his new family. It does seem a bit premature to do a move like this, but, living somewhere like this might be more important to him than money, now.

I thought he wanted to remain fairly local to be near his ill brother?

Romano gets as much wrong as he does right so just see how it pans out.

He reported we’d sold Berge a year before we did and were signing Kone.

He clears down his feed of any incorrect calls

Joke of a football club

That double signing day seems a million miles away now

His agent's played a bloody blinder and if you're Ollie you've got to snap their hand off haven't you?

Play with us on a reduced contract in the Championship, feeling undervalued and unwanted...he might well have wanted to stay and hedged his bets in the meantime, but it's not like he's going to Leeds or Bristol City or summat, live in the Canaries and play against Real Madrid and Barcelona?? Too bloody good an opportunity for life let alone footy.

Glad he's got the opportunity and lesson learnt by us. You can't keep a lass hanging on then moan when she leaves with a good looking f***er with a big nob and sports car.

I genuinely remember arguing about McBurnie in both directions in a single thread, defending him against detractors which simultaneously saying I thought a bunch of other posters were overrating him a tad.

So good, but could do better.

As it used to say on my school report.

Not too bad a move, I bet McBurnie would never think in his wildest dreams that he might get a run out at the Bernabeu.

I'll be honest, after last season, there's barely anybody in the squad who can lay a glove on anyone in the Premier League. If that's where we aspire to be, then we have to clear the dead wood out who clearly aren't able to make the step up so I for one am not getting all wistful and teary eyed at anyone leaving. The only player we can't afford to lose is Hamer IMO, couldn't give a stuff about the rest.

We're effectively replacing Championship players with Championship players at the moment - difference being that the ones coming in haven't come off one of the worst top flight seasons anyone has had in recent memory.

BIG test of character for the likes of Trusty and Grbic (god help us) if we go a goal down early at Preston.

Hes got a medical on friday according to the rumours so I would guess its waiting on that?

McBurnie still has to pass the medical. Given his injury record, that is no given.

I reckon Rifleman gets more right about us than Fab

Yeah he said Berge was going well before the window he did go in and we were signing Kone and someone from Barcelona!

That said he did get the Ndiaye story correct even when others were sure he was staying

Fame.

Internet influenza.

Gives Foxy something to do merging it into the thread about the same player.

I know as parents we have parental controls in the evening, but maybe during the holidays this can be extended to get them out of the house.

I would have liked him back. We lack leaders.

Shame.
