Much rather have a player who tries to make something happen than some of the cowardly keep possession shite we've got used to.
Yes today from 6 possessions he was absolutely woeful for 3 of them but he also got 3 decent crosses in with the other 3 possessions. One of those crosses produced our best chance of the 2nd half.
I'd much rather that than 6 play-it-safe back passes.

He has a good football brain and all round awareness, but is not willing or able to execute moves to try and create things

Looks like he's totally lost confidence in his pace. I've not seen him beat anyone cleanly down the outside yet, he wouldn't even try to outpace Cook(?) on that counter today

He kills attacks stone dead on that side time and again

He should only be used as a RWB with the creative burden placed elsewhere

Ogbene Negatives - He's slow, he doesn't beat a man on the outside very ofter, he's generally ineffective when he starts, his crossing is poor and his short passing is sometimes very bad.

Ogbene Positives - He's very slightly better that Barry, who is utter toss.

I think ogbene is a bit of a non entity and his injury has taken a yard of pace off him...but I'll stick up for him here. He can put a good cross in, he's not spectacular but he's also not ever going to let us down. He's just very middle ground. And it's not his fault, he seems a good pro.

I'd like to see him given license to drift inside and run at teams where pace is less important than the wing...
