Notice the size of the crowds. A lot of men had already been mobilized by that point, depressing attendance. There were lots of other things going on more important than sport. War preparations were going on all summer.Yes on September 2nd we won at Leeds.

You can sense the worry in the minds of most of the people in the below photo. Joe Carr got killed at Dunkirk in less than a year later. Harry Hampson (still our player but not in photo) died of Septicemia caused by war wounds in 1942

THE 5 is still being used on a Land Rover product, according to the DVLAMy old man’s first car was an Austin 7 with the registration plate GUG 6…..
Yes, I know.

My number plate and road tax costs me about $130 (£100) a year over here. I was never one to care back home, always thought it was a bit 'look at me' but I like to show my support of my team here and if anyone asks, delight in explaining the joys of following the mighty Blades from the Steel City
Oh and this is an old picture and yes, my tabs are up to date now

Best ever , better than Leicester imo
Best ever , better than Leicester imo
wednesday going down on the same day makes filbert street just a tad better, but to have 95 percent of a crowd away was special, and all the blades traffic on the A1 was insane
crowd was around 12000 and darlington Attendances were disappointing and hovered around the thousand mark for much of the season. The average league attendance for 82/83 was only 1454, the lowest figure ever for Darlington as a league club.17 jun 2019on and it wasonly pumped up to 1454 with adding the more than full houseI reckon we took more to MK (circa 9,000??), but we were nowhere near 95% at either ground.
were 8407 and v pompeuy and 9203 allowinf for away fans that is 7500 and 8200crowd was around 12000 and darlington Attendances were disappointing and hovered around the thousand mark for much of the season. I give up.
You talked about 95% at Leicester, and I chucked in MK.
You came back with some random shit about Darlington.
You then show some Leicester stats showing 32k against DirtyLeeds and lower home crowds against lesser oposition. For your incredulous '95%' comment to work, then in our crowd of 21k, it would mean only around 1k Leicester fans in the ground. Oddly, they then managed over 8k in home games against Port Vale, Plymouth, Oldham and Barnsley, which surely suggest that you are talking absolute tripe.
David Monks in background?. Is that Man City's Colin Bell next to him? This member of the crowd decided to join in the game.
Posted leicester last 6 games to show previous 2 home games they got less than 10000 then 21k v us the away games have no bearingI give up.
