Those studs are several layers of leather glued together and nailed into the sole of the boot. The capacity for injury by laceration from the occasional protruding nail was very substantial.

Memories, although only had one pair of "football boots"1948'ish, after that wore Rugby boots which were much lighter in weight and no strap across the instep.

Sorry missed your post initially. Yes I would but the margin is small. Both were class acts and a pleasure to watch and if asked to pick my all time Blades team they would both be in. It's subjective, just my opinion and if there has to be a definitive reason then five full international caps.
