Don't think you missed much.It was on the corner where Halfords was. Too young to go in when open.
My first town drink was in the Dove and Rainbow ,before braving the ridicule of going into Stonehouse to see if it had a roof on or notDon't think you missed much.

Maybe so but some good bands played there.Marples. What a dump that was. All the old timers who drank in town. Some scary characters as well.

Maybe so but some good bands played there.
Not my bag in music but I used to turn up anywhere for a laugh or other things.Never really went for that. Just an occasional call in place.
