Perhaps I was wrong about Warnock. Perhaps todays debacle at Reading shows he is red and white at heart.

Shame that the old Warnockasaurus won't change his ways though. Depleated squad, sendings off, suspensions, poor refereeing all of it someone elses fault.

Don't make me laugh Neil, you showed your old self again today with a brutal assault on a team and manager you knew you just weren't as good as. Anyone remember the Battle Of Bramall Lane. I know, it was all Megsons fault. He got all our players sent off. He put Santos on telling him to cripple an opponent. He managed to shame our great club and get us in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The man is Anti-Football. His tactics resemble something from the first world war and 0nce more has been shown up for what he is. Poor. Just wondering if he will sign Kabba up and get Pesch in as his no2 next season.

P.S, please don't sack him Ken. If 2 people ever deserved each other its them two.

Oh look, another Warnock bashing thread.
It's been at least a week since the last one.

People are quick to disregard what he did for this club, but that's their choice I suppose.

Well its nothing new that.

It is never ever his own fault much like Wenger in that respect.

True him and Ken are made for each other neither will admit when they are wrong.

I guess that trip to flamingo land worked then? :)

You really need to let go

The mans a footballing thug. He constantly embarrasses any team he manages with ridiculous comments like the ones he made after the Reading match. By all means back your own side but there is no wonder every team in Football hates Warnock. The fans hate him, fellow managers hate him and players from other clubs hate him. No wonder he can never attract big names and has to make do with cast offs from other clubs. No one wants to deal with him.

His tactics are from another era when booting teams in the air was ok. Less a case of letting go, more a case of people waking up to see what the man is really like.

Mind you, buy his next book. He's going to let me write it for him! :)

I thought Leeds managed to hold Reading quite well for the majority of the game, but Reading were just too good for them.

As for Leeds tactics, yep they were dirty, but they were committed and battled. It's what we needed last season.

It's too late for Leeds this season, but if Warnock's there next season they will be a horrible team to play against.

Aye, 7 promotions. He's wank.

harsh sending off , cost em any chance

simples

That was the least of their offences yesterday. One tackle by Pugh was just outrageous - a proper flying leg breaker - yet he didn't even get booked for it.

I don't think Leeds need Warnock's management to be dirty swines, but every little helps.

Wouldn't swap him for what we currently have. Football V Anti-Football. I'll stick with football thanks.

Well let's let the facts speak for themselves. Warnock got us promoted from the championship. Wilson hasn't achieved anything yet.

One thing is for sure Warnock always keeps things interesting.

Would I swap Wilson for him now? No. But wilsons big test of his abilities will come when we get to the championship.

Is Warnock the most successful manager at championship level?

I thought brown's tackle was more effective

We've done the 'horrible to play against' thing. Let's give 'good' a fair crack now, shall we?

I know which I prefer. Sadly, I'm not so sure about our Neanderthal, upanatem, lunatic fringe.

And yet, both methods are very effective in the Championship

More that 30,000 people disagreed every week when we were in the premier league.

I'm perfectly happy with what we've got now. That's got nothing to do with the concrete fact that Warnock is a top manager. And a bit of a twat.

Its a style becoming less effective though as more clubs have started changing the way they play.

Whatever style it is, it's a style that got QPR promoted just last season.

Oh dear, the Brigade still love it, don't they?

Do try to step into the 20th Century at least, lads. Failing that, there are plenty of Wimbledon and Watford videos available.

I never thought anything other that a direct up and at em style would be effective for Sheffield United. I was wrong.

In Agent Wilson we trust. Warnock is dead. Long live Warnock.

Ah, but you're too young to remember the TC era. There are many like you. I think it gives you a perfectly understandable, but time-distorted, view.

Delighted to hear of your change of mind. I'll buy you a flight to Switzerland. :)

I don't think either style is more or less modern, but we've been undone this season by many teams that play direct.

As ive said many times, effective football is key.

And if the football is effective and gets results it's generally exciting to watch. Swansea v Newcastle yesterday. Apparently Britton was central to all that Swansea did. Didn't win them the game though.

As I also said, I wouldn't swap Wilson right now, but he has to prove his style can be as effective in the championship, which as we know is much, much tougher than league 1.

Warnock has proved his style time and time again in the championship

Thats all.
