True. True. And True. I read here, but don't post. This might be my first post.

Jim will you be making the trip over for the last Match of the season against Chesterfield?

Should be a day to remember - you will see what it really means to the supporters and can you can persuade the prince we really have the Manager and Fans to be a premiership club, just need the backing :-)

He was the Princes eyes and ears and his advisor. I doubt he appointed Adkins, who most thought was a good appointment at the time in any case.
Nope, he was the chairman of the football club. Personally, I think the Adkins appointment did make sense and on paper he was the best available however it went wrong and the people doing the appointing have to take some of them blame for that whether deservedly or not. Anyway, it a turned out well in the end and now we've got a great man and leader in charge and were on our way back up.

Welcome to the mad house of s24su JimPhipps

Hiya Jim,

Never spoke to you before.

Thanks for your communications and interactions over previous seasons, even tho it probably backfired.
What you need to realise is that for many, supporting the Blades is like a religion.
We are currently in our worse spell in our 125 year history, so of course many fans have a latent anger.
Doesn't help that Wednesday are doing better so we get constant reminders of our failure.
Probably didn't help that your were from the US because the perception is that you probably don't understand our pain and of course when you deal with the public (especially football fans) you're fighting a losing battle as there will always be plenty of unreasonable irrational angry Blades on twitter.

Anyway really pleased you've got in touch.

Wilder has worked a miracle so far. The last time we had almost 100% of fans behind the manager like this was when we had Dave Bassett in the late 80's to the early 90's.

It's a great time to be a Blade.
We've had more possession that the oppostion in our last 18 consecutive league matches
We've also had more shots, more shots on target and more corners that the oppostion in 17 of our last 18 league matches. So this proves our almost gauranteed dominance.

We also play some really attractive footballl. It's the best midfield I've seen in many years and thanks to Chris Wilder and Alan Knill the future is looking very bright. Up the Blades !!!!!

Always thought Jim was genuine with his inherited love of 'soccer' and The Mighty Blades.

His continued support and buy in from afar shows he was. I wish for his sake he could have been the chairman that presided over our promotion but as it is, it's probably better for both the club and him that there isn't such a direct boardroom presence on social media anymore.

Good on you Jim. Good health and utb.

Always liked the bloke's enthusiasm seemed a top fella.

Wish him all the best and echo others in that it would be good to see him back sometime.
