Perhaps now we can all see where the Oxford fans animosity towards CW emanates from . A great start to his tenure is quickly followed by a season that was ok but could and should have been much better .

But it's as his tenure becomes longer that the real problems begin . CW was slaughtered for trying the same tactics and same line ups despite the fact that everyone could see it wasn't working . Many accused him of being stubborn to the point of it damaging the club because of his deep seated managerial philosophy, it's his way or no way regardless of the fact it's clearly not working .

Thanks for the memories Chris but it's time to step aside . Don't kill the Club you claim to love .

Well, given that the O/T was 'what the majority think, WILDER OUT' ….. apparently not the majority … that went well then.

Who on earth get's rid of a manager after 1 game … oh yes, we did. Remember the outcome?

If we're going to be mid-table, personally I'd rather start badly and build something through the season than start OK, think that everything's fine when it isn't and then slide later.

Just a thought.
