Oinkers tickets

This debate, as mentioned, has been done to death. When demand outstrips supply, loyal fans will always look for other ways to see the game, whether its getting a ticket from a mate who can't go, someone who knows a player or someone with corporate access. The system aint perfect. Is that too difficult to understand?

Saying that anyone who is asking about spare tickets is "fucking other Blades over" is an insult to fellow Blades who only want to support their team. You can disagree but don't resort to insults
Don't think I insulted anyone really. It's just my opinion that it is in fact fucking other Blades over. There is no two ways about that.

I consider myself a loyal fan but with 30k points, I've resigned to watching it on Sky as I know the shite allocation will sell out to people that have gone to more games than me in recent history. I'm not going to go around begging for someone else to let me use their points because that would make the system pointless.

Whether the points system we use is ideal as mattbianco1 suggests is another question. Still doesn't make it right that someone with less loyalty points gets a ticket over someone who's been going to matches more consistently and have built their points up on the system that's in place.

Looks like online ticket site has collapsed under the demand surge at 13.00

Maybe they should have sent a letter to everyone ? :D

They could have stated on online sales that it was a waste of fucking time but presumably that was too difficult a decision for someone to make prior to 1pm.

They could have put a warning on the official site some time mid morning to say that there wouldn't be many left at 1.00 so they were pulling online sales at that time.

Posting one message on one social media platform after the event is hardly good management.

It's not rocket science.

As it happens I'm not too pissed off because a) I didn't expect to get a ticket and b) I hadn't decided that I was definitely going if I did get one.

So as it sold out yet or not? Not seen any confirmation of it after the 70 tickets left update?

There are more sixty plus year olds going away than you may think. It's just you don't hear about us because we can't reach the air conditioning ducts without a stepladder, polyester is dangerous around flares and cocaine reacts badly with blood pressure medication and insulin.

Don't mind the flares actually, saves me the trouble of dodging off round the back for a fag. You also get some interesting colours in your phlegm.

I think anyone who did Yeovil away the season before last, on that Tuesday night, should automatically be allowed tickets to anything they ever want to go to. All that way on a Tuesday to see the worst performance of one of the dullest seasons in memory. That alone should be worth 50,000 points. If you disagree all I can say is 'you weren't there man'.

Just get a job at swillsborough then you can watch it for free , although sitting with the porcine creatures isn't the best

Very very surprised but a mate managed to get both mine and his (38k points each) over the phone at 3pm, we'd given up as no online sales and phone constantly engaged, he had one more go at 3 n got through, they said then there were still the odd few scattered about!

All gone now according to club on twitter.

Tight piggy bastards!!!!

Hope everyone got sorted!

And just to let dec know, my uncles brothers sisters budgie isnt going so i got his ticket

See you all at swillsbro ;)

So are wendy just not selling the bottom tier of the death trap ? Or is it a segregation thing ?

I've knocked myself up a fake 'Emergency Tarpaulin Repair Technician' ID card. Well, you can't be too careful with tarp tethers in the windy season.

If anyone sees someone walking around the empty lower tier wearing a pair of overalls and carrying a pair of scissors and a sewing kit, give me a wave... :D

I don't think you really "hope everyone got sorted", do you?

Imagine that Blade who was 71st in line to go and purchase his ticket - shall we call him Albert. Following retirement he's been home and away for the last 5 seasons and built up 38k loyalty points. Queued for hours. Would've been one left for Albert if it weren't for your budgie smuggling.

That Blade, or similar, does exist. It's easy to put it out of mind though when you don't have to come face to face with poor Albert.

my lad missed out. Cut of today was 37500 he has 37300 gutted for him. At least he can buy me a pint whilst we watch it together in a pub somewhere.

Utb

Can I stick my name on the long list of people after a spare if anyone ends up with one?

Got my own, after one for my lad.

Yeah if anyone has any spares or any they're willing to sell - name your price! Was 250 points short today!! UTB

I had sufficient points to get a ticket but refuse to pay £42.
One thing I do know is that each and every blade who has paid the money should have personally accumulated sufficient points to warrant a place supporting our team in what is the most important match for many a year!

Mind the Gap, mind the f in gap! We have taken their "humour" for too long it's time for us ( team and supporters) to prove that the tide had turned and for that to happen we expect each and every supporter to be a100% Blade not a part timer who knows someone!

On a slightly different subject, I think there should be a 'quota' set aside for say 100 tickets to be guaranteed for those under 21 (for example) regardless of how many loyalty points they have to encourage them to go to away games for the future

At least 3 of the first 4 away games weren't sell outs and the Walsall and Leicester games certainly weren't so there are opportunities there to accumulate points.( and the majority of games away from home last season went to 'general sale')

I think there is a 'tweak' needed and maybe a rolling 5 years points system would be fair. It would, for the next few seasons, still reward the fans who travelled away in the seasons before Wilder but also give hope that others will eventually have a chance

I doubt we'll give them anymore than we've given them for the return derby. I would guess the Pigs will have one tier only.Gone are the days when both clubs used to have 5 - 7,000 strong away followings for derby games. The safety partnership will have had a factor in that I reckon.

Can anyone give me two tickets for this?

Thanks.

Yours in appreciation.
